In Zurich, the fountains in the center “bloom” for Easter

On the occasion of the arrival of Easter every year in Zurich, some selected fountains in the city center are “decorated” by thousands of rosebuds donated by the churches, creating a spectacular chromatic effect, especially on sunny days like today! It is possible to view the flowering fountains from 1 to 10 April.

This initiative is part of the “Ohne Dornen keine Rosen” (no roses without thorns) project wanted by the Churches of the Old City, the purpose of which is to spread a sign of hope precisely during Holy Week and Easter. During this period there is also a special themed program in the churches of the centre.

On this theme, on Thursday 6 April, in Milan at the Sormani Library, Danilo Broggi will present his book “Connessi e Confusi. Orient yourself in the ocean of innovation”.
