Eos Investment Management, a leader in investments in energy transition and sustainable energy through infrastructure and private equity funds, has announced the sale to Obton, a Danish group specializing in investments in sustainable technologies, of an additional 2 photovoltaic plants in Italy, with a total capacity of 12 MW.
The assets, in operation since 2012 and held in the portfolio of Eos Energy Fund I, the first infrastructure fund launched by Eos Im, are capable of generating more than 16 GWh per year and meeting the annual energy needs of about 6,500 households, resulting in savings, compared to energy produced from fossil fuels, of more than 10 thousand tons of CO₂. This divestment is in addition to the one already made in November 2020, for a total of 30 MW of solar plants divested by Eos Im to the Danish group.
Consilium is happy to support Eos in media relations activities, aimed at enhancing the Group’s reputation and outreach in the national media landscape.
