BTS Biogas is a leading company in the renewable energy sector for over 25 years, which makes know-how its strong point. Hence the continuous commitment to innovation and research, to make processes more efficient and solve critical issues.
One of the projects being pursued in this field is ‘InnoDaBio’. Presented a few days ago at the University of Padua – one of the partners in the project together with the Cariverona Foundation and the multi-utility ETRA SpA benefit company – the project has a two-year duration and aims to optimise the yield of bioplastics into biogas. The ultimate goal is to reduce waste to zero and produce new energy by using what ends up in the wet waste stream, including that in our homes, more easily and quickly.
‘We are very happy to participate in this project, which will allow us to define innovative methodologies to improve the treatment of organic waste as well as to develop, on a pilot scale, the most efficient digestion technology for the conversion of bioplastics into biogas,’ says Franco Lusuriello, CEO of BTS Biogas. – Know-how is our strength, and it is crucial for us to participate in initiatives that allow us to make progress in this direction.’
At Consilium are happy to support a company that makes the circular economy its business by demonstrating a clear and serious commitment to sustainability.
EEQF- #EnjoyEuropeanQualityFood, the EU co-funded project created with the aim of spreading and increasing awareness in Europe of the quality of Italian products with designation of origin and geographical indication, has come to an end. The closing event held in Milan crowns four years of work in which we organized events, show cooking and tasting sessions involving Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland, with the aim of enhancing the products and promoting the identity and cultural diversity of the various regions, boosting the economic and social revival of the territories involved.
The six participating partners contributed to the dissemination of the cultural significance that food and wine holds in our country, testifying to the excellence that comes from the combination of the territory’s natural resources, the art of processing and human experience. During the panel discussion, moderated by journalist Antonio Picasso, speakers included Cesare Baldrighi (President Origin Italia), Giangiacomo Gallarati Scotti Bonaldi (President Federdoc), Giovanni Guarneri (#EEQF Project Leader and President Consorzio Tutela Provolone Valpadana) and Giacomo Pondini (Director of Consorzio dell’Asti and Moscato d’Asti DOCG.
We would also like to thank the Vice President of the Senate Gian Marco Centinaio, who sent us a contribution in which he emphasized how EEQF was one of the most important initiatives on the Italian scene, able to bring together different realities to make the Italian and European agri-food industry great. At the end of the meeting, guests and press took part in a pure product tasting led by sommelier Noemi Brambilla, which was followed by a light lunch with a dedicated menu.
Yesterday we were in Madrid for the first event in 2024 of the EEQF project – Enjoy European Quality Food.

An event by the Senza Veli sulla lingua Association
An event dedicated to drugs and getting out of addiction was held yesterday Monday, January 15, 2024, at Palazzo Lombardia in Milan. A meeting part of the “No more Silence” Project dedicated to schools, by SVSL (Senza Veli sulla Lingua), an association that fights for gender equality, against violence against women, which also promotes the development of greater awareness of primary and secondary school students, in collaboration with the Lombardy Region. To do this, the association organizes, throughout the country, meetings with testimonies from people who have lived through difficult experiences themselves, for the formation of culture and knowledge.
Each event, included within the Project, aims to analyze the psychological, legal and sociological side of the subject matter, touching on points of extreme topicality. In the meeting, faced with the drama of the percentages related to young students who use drugs, there were questions about the causes, consequences, including criminal ones, and hypotheses of paths of “exit from the tunnel.”
Speakers present at the event
Among the guests were Sonia Bedeschi. Speakers included Ebla Ahmed, national president of the Senza Veli sulla Lingua Association; Giorgia Benusiglio, author of the book “Vuoi trasgredire? Non Fart I,” who firsthand entered the abyss of addiction and after risking her own life decided to dedicate it to raising awareness on the issue; Silvia Bassi, a psychologist who is an expert in criminology and clinical and forensic psychodiagnostics; and Giuseppe Lanfranco, legal counselor, who detailed the legal consequences to which one incurs in using or being found in possession of drugs.
